How to setup email account in Microsoft Outlook?

To setup the mail account in your Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Launch your Microsoft Outlook
  2. Go to File on top left menu.
  3. Go to Add Account from Account Information
  4. Click on the radio button Manual setup or additional server types.

  6. Select the Internet Email option and click Next.

  8. Enter the details that is, your name and full email address in user information section. Select your Account type. You may select either POP3 or IMAP. Enter your mail.domain.com for incoming and outgoing mail server (SMTP). Provide your full email address and password on the Logon information section and check mark on the remember password. Proceed further by clicking on More Setting.

  10. Click on Outgoing Server tab and check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Go to Advanced tab and change Outgoing server (SMTP) port from 25 to 587.

  12. After, click on Finish button and your email account will be ready to use in Microsoft Outlook.
